Life for Falcons
Over the past weekend, Green Balkans' team, part of the project "LIFE for Falcons", presented the project and its goals to the guests of the Periwinkle Festival, organized by our friends from Strandzha Nature Park.

For several days, project volunteers told over three thousand visitors of the event about the Saker falcon, the return of the species in our country and the upcoming project activities.

Special guest of the event was the Saker falcon Romeo, which due to its age, has already been removed from the breeding program of the species at the Rescue Center. Now, his main task is to present his brothers during the participation of our team in various events. Romeo was accompanied by the Common kestrel Vladko and the Tawny owl Luli.

We thank both the organizers of the festival for the invitation and the volunteers, Veterinary medicine students from the Trakia University, for their help.
