The Green Balkans team participated in the event, organized in Santa Marina Holiday Village in Sozopol in the beginning of May.
During their visit they presented to the guests of the complex the numerous activities of Green Balkans NGO and of the Wildlife Rehabilitation and Breeding Centre.
The focal point of it was the presentation of the "Living Exhibition" – dedicated to the European Green Belt initiative, where special attention was paid to the rare species of birds, such as the Lesser Kestrel and the Saker Falcon, for the recovery of which Green Balkans and the Rescue Centre are implementing the projects "Life for Lesser Kestrel" LIFE19 NAT/BG/001017 and "Life for Falcons", funded by the LIFE Programme of the EU.
Among the dozens of visitors to the event, to whom our team happily told about our conservation activities, was also the mayor of the municipality of Sozopol – Mr. Tihomir Yanakiev, together with his family and representatives of his team.
