Green Balkans Team Presented “Life for the Falcon” Project Activities at the National Sheep Breeders’ Fair

At the end of last week, the Green Balkans team, part of the “Life for the Falcon” project, presented the project’s activities to the thousands of attendees at the National Sheep Breeders’ Fair, held near the town of Arbanasi.

At the exhibition, we shared with visitors our work related to locating and studying rare bird species in Bulgaria, discussed poaching, nature conservation, and environmental protection.

We were joined by Harry the buzzard and Mia the owl, as well as students of veterinary medicine and animal science from the “Barbatus” environmental club at Trakia University in Stara Zagora.

Our stand attracted numerous visitors to the fair, including the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Rumen Radev.
