At the festival, we shared with visitors our work on the return of the Saker Falcon to Bulgaria, the field activities of our team, information about the species itself, and why it is important to protect and conserve it.
Helping us at the event were Lulu the Tawny Owl and Harry the Common Buzzard - permanently injured birds from the Wildlife Rescue Centre - who visitors had the chance to see up close at our stand.
We also had fun activities for children, including puzzles, quiz games on nature conservation and environmental protection, and small prizes for those who performed well.
We’re deeply grateful to our dedicated volunteers -veterinary medicine students from Trakia University - who helped us make it all possible!
